The different lines are formated exactly the same way in InDesign. Only the lighter text lines are missing the "o"s. is missing in a PDF file, Acrobat uses a sophisticated system to emulate the missing font. Originally they should look the same (as you can verify in the other print). Foxit Reader Free PDF reader for Windows, macOS and Linux. Remember that if you have active form fields in your document, they will be flattened. If you look carefully at the failed print you can see in the floating text that some lines are lighter and some look fatter. Go to File > Print Select Adobe PDF or Foxit PDF as the printer Choose the option to Shrink to Printable Area Click OK This will print the document to a new PDF and reduce the file size. ![]() The print which is OK was made with the same PDF on the same printer and NOT with Adobe Reader but with Foxit Reader. In the PDF shown below it is the letter "o" which is missing sometimes but we also had other letters with other PDFs too. When I print a PDF from Adobe Reader some characters are missing.
